Crestron C2N-IVDS24x24 Intercom Video Distribution System
VIDEO IN
These connectors (quantity twenty-four) supply composite video input signals to the
IVDS. The IVDS contains sixteen standard gold-plated RCA connectors for
unbalanced video and eight RJ-45 connectors for balanced video signals over CAT5
wiring. The CAT5 input signals can be compensated via software commands. Refer
to “Video Input Compensation” on page 19 for more information.

VIDEO OUT
These connectors (quantity twenty-four) supply composite video output signals from
the IVDS to display devices with standard RCA or balanced inputs. The IVDS
contains sixteen RJ-45 connectors for balanced video over CAT5 and eight gold-
plated RCA connectors for unbalanced video. These outputs are used to connect to a
variety of video displays and video-capable touchpanels.

This 4-pin network connector is used to connect the IVDS to the Cresnet system.
Data and power for the IVDS are provided via the connection. Refer to “Network
Wiring” on page 8.
Indicators
The IVDS indicators are described in the following paragraphs.
PWR (Power)
This LED illuminates when 24 volts DC is supplied to the IVDS.
